SHAPES IN WHITE: MOTTO "WINTER SPORTS Works of art made of snow and ice amaze all Ischgl visitors as part of the snow sculpture competition. Professional sculptors create masterpieces out of snow in the midst of the magnificent mountain scenery of the Paznaun. "Icy art in the Silvretta Arena"The first The art project "Forms in White” was created 28 years ago. Since then, sculptors from all over the world have sent their designs to the jury of the Ischgler snow sculpture competition every year. This selects the best ideas and invites ten artist couples to implement them in the Silvretta Arena to Ischgl. The sculpture makers then have five days to create their up to ten meter high masterpieces out of snow in the 239 km of slopes.
